Our Mission

The mission of Goodwill Industries – Big Bend, Inc. is to provide job training, education and employment to people with disabilities and other barriers to employment, helping them to reach their fullest potential in supporting themselves and their families. Goodwill also provides barrier-free apartment complexes in which people with disabilities can live independently.

We accomplish this mission through:

• Your donations of items in sellable condition

• Your purchases in our stores providing income for wages and program expenses

• Your hiring people who have completed our training program

• Our workforce of more than 400 individuals, many with disabilities and other barriers to employment

• Nine apartment complexes for people with disabilities and elderly individuals
